ITC announces service schedule during Eid Al Fitr 1443 Hijri holiday

Abu Dhabi on Friday – To keep the public informed about its services, the Integrated Transport Center (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport Abu Dhabi has announced the timings of all its services during the Eid Al Fitr holiday 1443 Hijri (2022), as the blessed month of Ramadan comes to an end. During holidays, MAWAQiF surface parking fee and Darb toll system will be free.

Customer Happiness Centers

Customer Happiness Centers in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi will be closed for the holidays, starting Saturday, April 30, 2022 until service officially resumes on Monday, May 9, 2022. Customers can continue to request customer services. ‘ITC via its website: www.itc .gov.ae, as well as the smart applications Darb and Darbi. Additionally, customers may contact the Department of Municipalities and Transportation’s Unified Service Assistance Center at 800850 or the Taxi Call Center: 600535353 to request 24/7 services.

MAWAQiF Service

MAWAQiF surface parking fee will be free from Friday, April 29, 2022 until 7:59 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022. In addition, parking fee at Musaffah M-18 truck parking lot will also be free during the official holiday. of Eid.

The ITC calls on motorists to avoid parking in prohibited areas and blocking traffic. He urged them to park properly in designated areas and to avoid parking in residential parking lots from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Darb toll system

The Darb toll will be free during the holidays from Friday April 29, 2022 and the normal toll will be reactivated on Saturday May 7, 2022 at peak times (07:00 to 09:00 and 17:00 to 19:00 from Saturday to Thursday) in order to ensure smooth traffic during these times.

Public bus services

During the Eid Al Fitr holiday, public bus services in the emirate will operate on the regular schedule, but the number of regional bus services will increase depending on the volume of demand during the period: 30 April to May 4. In addition, ITC coordinated with private sector operators to increase the number of intercity bus services commensurate with the expected increase in demand for the service.
