Do you have a good knowledge of the legislation and accounting for rents and charges? Are you able to meet challenging performance goals and deliver on pace?

Clarion Housing offers a range of affordable housing options primarily to those who have been abandoned by the private sector. With 120,000 units under management, residents pay rent and service fees as part of their rental or lease agreements.

As a Service Cost Analyst you will be part of a team working with colleagues across the group to ensure that all relevant costs are identified, coded into the correct cost allocation pool and checked for their completeness. You will also ensure that rental charges are correctly charged for each type of occupancy and are reviewed in accordance with the rent standard, associated legislation and any applicable rental agreement.

The role you will play is essential in ensuring that residents have affordable housing. By working with the Development, Housing, and Mechanical & Electrical teams, you will gain an in-depth understanding of new projects being built and the services provided, to ensure correct rent and accurate service charge estimates for all new build properties.

By working with business leaders, you will have excellent communication skills and be a confident communicator. With a high level of initiative, enthusiasm and motivation as well as project and time management skills, you are committed to delivering results and ensuring quality service delivery.

With experience providing accurate financial information and using Excel to manipulate large volumes of data, you will contribute to statistical and regulatory data reporting and provide accurate estimation and reconciliation of all service charges .

As a partially qualified finalist from a recognized CCAB institute, you will use your analytical techniques to perform reconciliations between various data sets to identify any inconsistencies between rental charges and services, ensuring compliance with the legislation and best practice guidelines.
